What does an oil change at Jiffy Lube consist of? ›

When you visit one of the 2,000+ Jiffy Lube locations nationwide for a Jiffy Lube Signature Service^® Oil Change, your car will receive a complimentary, multi-point inspection that includes a check and fill of the following: Tire pressures. Transmission/transaxle fluid. Differential/transfer case fluid.

Or maybe you forgot to check your tire pressure. Jiffy Lube offers complimentary top-off services to help ensure these important steps aren't missed. Our complimentary top-offs are included in every signature service oil change. But we will also gladly offer these top-offs during other services.

An oil change at Jiffy Lube could take 15 minutes or less, that's from the time we start your service, and the hood of your vehicle goes up, to when we've completed the service, and the hood goes down!

Our top off policy helps provide this piece of mind. With every Jiffy Lube Signature Service^® Oil Change, we provide complimentary fluid top off service on vital fluids including motor oil (the same type of oil purchased originally), transmission, power steering, differential/transfer case and washer fluid.

By this logic, it's not like you're having a good time while they change your oil, so a tip isn't customary. That being said, if you're financially stable and want to give an employee $5 for doing a good job, no one is going to stop you. Couldn't hurt, but it definitely isn't necessary.

WHAT WE DO: Jiffy Lube^® removes and replaces your spark plugs as well as inspects your ignition system based on your vehicle manufacturer's specifications.

What Is Included in a Full-Service Oil Change? When you get a full-service change, an auto technician will change your car's motor oil with the type that it needs, which could be conventional, synthetic, synthetic blend, or high-mileage oil.
