Yo Joe June continues and for this week’s event, BMac and Lenny showcased an Unboxing video of the G.I. Joe Classified Series Assault Copter Dragonfly (XH-1) HasLab on You Tube. I can’t believe it’s been almost a year since the campaign ended and the Dragonfly GI Joe Classified Series 2023 Haslab is going to be shipping to backers soon! The Dragonfly came out freakin stunning and the figures are off the chain! I personally can’t wait to get mine in hand, but in the meantime, let’s enjoy this GI Joe Classified Series Haslab Dragonfly Unboxing!

Lenny and BMac started out by showing off the incredible packaging for the Dragonfly. Laden in monochromatic art work, matching that of the Haslab HISS Tank, the box for the Dragonfly looks amazing. The top of the box has a beautiful Dragonfly logo.
The box opens from the side and the flap contains artwork that is continuous from the front of the box and is gorgeous! A fleet of Dragonfly Assault Helicopters on the attack!
The inside of the box contains several smaller boxes each with incredible Joe inspired logos containing various parts of the Dragonfly and the action figures. There are also 3 sheets of custom stickers so you can personalize your Dragonfly! I just love the zombie Wild Bill riding the Dragonfly decals!
They called these decals the gross racing style with a zombie fly which is hilarious! They also included the classic fighter jet copter teeth and eye
Some incredible close ups of the Dragonfly with it’s missiles, machine gun and winch attached.
Additional close ups of various engine compartments that open up to reveal very cool machinery with amazing paint apps and featuring faux oxidation on the parts as well!
Some close ups of the rear flaps and wings, both articulated.
Here we can see a close up of helicopter blades, and they made it look like cardon fiber! Also the top of the copter has a black color theme to make it look more stealth.
Here we can see the Dragonfly with the various blast effects attached. You can even move the blast effect forward and attach it to the peg mount so that it looks like it is flying off! How freakin cool is that?
Here we can see how the display stand attaches to the bottom of the Dragonfly. It’s really cool how it is clear plastic to give the illusion that it is flying!
Then Lenny proceeded to unbox the figures and wow do they look incredible! Each figure comes packaged in their own individual window box with full artwork on the sides and back.
Here you can see the artwork for the figures on the rear of the boxes. And if you line up the sides of the boxes in numbered order, they recreate the Haslab box art.
Wild Bill comes with 2 revolvers, a hat, hair and comes with a combo hat and hair, plus sunglasses and a knife. Lenny mentioned he has a nametag under his vest as well.
Here we can see what Wild Bill looks like without his hat. His hair has a nice wash to it as well. He looks so cool with his shades on!
Here we have Night Force Ripcord looking freakin amazing! Lenny mentioned that this prototype came out shinny and that the final production version will not be shinny. He comes with an altitude gage on his left wrist.
On his right hip he has his rebreather pack that his rebreather air hose plugs into. You can see he has a Night Force logo on his right shoulder as well.
A view from the back and also you can see his awesome helmet he comes with. It has a cool black windscreen visor on it.
He looks amazing with his backpack on. You could open the backpack and store gear inside or even a parachute! It would be cool if they gave us a parachute for him to use. The backpack fits so well. I love it!
Ripcord can wear his google and you can still place his helmet on him and lift the visor up or lower it down to give him an amazing Fighter pilot look!
Next we have Glenda. Based on the same buck as Retro Scarlett. She comes with alternate hair wearing a headset and mic.
She comes with an included harness you can use for either male or female figures which includes a loop in the front so they can repel down cables. It will have adjustable straps to fit your different figures.
She also included hair that allows you to put her helmet on. She looks really cool with her helmet with the black windscreen. Her backpack was inspired by Grand Slam and her pistol was as well. So does this mean we are getting Grand Slam soon?
Crazy Legs is a parachute rigger so he comes with a parachute rigger hat. He comes wearing his secondary straps which are removeable. He comes with a backpack and SMG rifle with a folding backstop and removeable magazine.
He comes with two sets of googles, a larger set to go on his removeable helmet and a smaller set to go on his face.
Finally you can see how he looks from the back with his backpack on.

Official Dragonfly Images
The Official images of the HASLAB Dragon Fly helicopter they look phenomenal! The details on the helicopter are incredible with all those rivets on the panels and those tampo’d decals! And Will Bill looks to be the most detailed and spectacular looking Classified figure to date! His face sculpt looks so detailed, and truly a wonderful homage to the vintage figure! Also the details on his cowboy style gloves, and six shooter belt look spectacular! Hi-Res images are below so enjoy!!
Campaign Details
- Needed 10,000 backer at $274.99 XH-1 by 11:59pm by July 17th 2023 in order for it to fund
- 13,000 backers to unlock tier 1 which is Night Force Rip Cord action figure.
- There were 2 additional Secret unlock tiers. Secret Unlocks are at 16,000 Backers was Glenda, and 19,000 Backers was Night Force Crazy Legs.
- All of the figures will be in full Classified packaging and numbered in sequence.
The new Classified Series HasLab Dragonfly XH-1 looks incredible! It measures a whopping 34.09” W x 11.33”H x 13.77”D. It features rotor blades that have a manual blade spinning action. There is a lighting button is on top that lights up interior gages in the co*ckpit, and exterior lights as well. There are 3 different lighting sequences.
The Dragonfly comes with removable missile and canon accessories. The blast effects will have gorgeous colorways on them, just like the ones that came with the Skystriker. The rockets post onto dog bones on the side. Also include are what Lenny affectionately called “Chips and Salsa” large removable gatling guns that can port in a bunch of blast effects.
The front gattling gun swivels and moves up and down. It includes a 1.5 mm port system in the front so you can place blast effects. There are also removable panels with mechanical and engine details.
Movable V Tail Wing: The vertical tail fin rotates from 90 degrees to 45 to assist in maneuverability. Tail thruster spins and cover comes off to reveal additional detail.
Doors lower showing the inner workings of the twin X-551 60MM Mini-Cannon accessories and act as a step to pose your figures ascending into the co*ckpit. co*ckpit canopy lifts like a standard canopy, or can open in the rear and front with gullwing windows for quick escapes. There are also cool seat belts in the co*ckpit to hold your pilots in place!
There are working interior co*ckpit lights that light up the co*ckpit for the gunner and pilot in green. And then there are 2 other lightening setting to include exterior headlamps and a spotlight shining down from the bottom of the helicopter to help light any Joes you are trying to rescue or spot those slithery Cobra’s hiding in the shadows!
There are 6 enormous blast effects, and also includes an awesome display stand.
The transparent 10-inch-high display stand has a 15-degree angle allowing you to pose your Attack Copter as though it’s hovering in the air, either climbing or descending. The base is decorated with a modern take on the classic DF-1 roundel.
The Dragonfly even includes a functioning hoist (with ratcheting action) with cable and rescue hook for rescue ops of your Joe troops! There is also a toy winch with a button to pull the tow winch down, and you can hook onto the belts of your action figures.
Wild Bill
Will Bill comes with a removable hat and removable hair. He also includes his trusty knife that can holster onto his vest. He has removeable sunglasses, and 2 six shooters, and a long horn belt buckle and a Longhorn on the back of his belt as well.
Wild Bill also has a six shooter belt as well. There are very nice embroidery on his calvary gloves, and stitching details on his gloves and vest. There are also leather patterns on his vest. His boots also have a leather texture and look great too. Lenny mentioned that Wild Bill’s face pattern early to mid 40’s with his signature Wild Bill mustache.

Night Force Rip Cord
13,000 backers to unlock tier 1 which is Night Force Rip Cord action figure.

Tier 2 Jane “Glenda” Mulligan
Tier 2 unlock was Jane “Glenda” Mulligan in her classic colors. Originally, Glenda was released in the vintage line and was an exclusive figure that was available carded in Argentina by the Plastirama toy company and used the same mold as Scarlett. Glenda will include 2 sets of alternate hair, a helmet with hair and headset with hair. She also includes here flight suit web gear, 2 fist hands, a gun, a rifle and a backpack with air hose. She will come in her own numbered GI Joe Classified packaging. Glenda got unlocked when the campaign hit 16,000 backers.

Inspiration for Glenda
As we said earlier, Glenda was an exclusive figure that was available carded in Argentina by the Plastirama toy company. In the comic lore, Glenda led Hardball and Rampart in a mission to capture Asa Negra and Big Boa, only to find both Cobra members and their troops dead. Glenda noticed how unlikely it was to be the work of local warlords or the CIA, and whoever did it was sending a message. Those who did it revealed themselves, confirmed Glenda’s suspicions, and killed the three Joes to complete the message

TIER 3 Night Force Crazy Legs
The last tier at 19K backers was a Night Force version of Crazylegs! On observation on this is that Night Force ripcord and Glenda are both digital renders and crazy legs is an illustration, so it makes us think that Hasbro was probably debating what the last tier release was going to be and drew him up as an illustration at the last minute. Or it could be that like with the Hiss Tank Haslab, the last tier might be left open to see what fan reactions are to the campaign, and then perhaps the team selects a less developed figure as the last tier.
